Simple steps to obtain your Temporary Residence Card
- Contract signed and 50% of the payment to be made.
- Medical and Police certificates legalized.
- Business case preparation.
- Application lodging in the Embassy of Slovakia.
- No requirement for Schengen Visa.
- Processing time 6-8 months.
- Professional Card approved.
- The Temporary Residence Permit will be received from the Embassy or consulate of Slovakia in the country of Residence of the applicant or the nearest Embassy or consulate to the applicant.
- Amount to be shown in your bank account:
The amount can be in the form of certificates or fixed deposits with no restriction to use at any time and has to be divided in 02 accounts one account of 5000 Euros/- & another account of 25000/- Euros as follows:
- Final payment (50%) is due when your entry visa is approved.
- Criminal registry extract from the country of your origin and from the countries where you resided in last 3 years for more than 90 days during 6 consecutive months.
- Arrival into Slovakia.
- Company registration.
- The applicants receive full benefits of the Slovakian Citizens for example Medical & Education benefits.
- In Slovakia there is no tax for this, but administrative fees.
- There is a general obligation of a foreigner with Temporary Residence Permit not to leave Slovakia for a longer period than 180 days.
- The resident has to inform the authorities if he needs to leave the country for more than 30 days.
- Family reunification.
- Professional Card and ID are issued for 1 year.
